The Ruby Language is an extremely productive and malleable tool in the programmer’s toolkit. Popularized by the advent of the Rails web-application framework, it has proven itself to be a powerful and viable dynamic-language alternative to the more popular industry standards like C#, ColdFusion, Java, Perl, PHP, and Python.
The majority of the production code we work on these days is Ruby on Rails, and as a result we have extracted and released a lot of plugins for Rails.
We also love the ease of use of CruiseControl.rb from ThoughtWorks, and have written some CruiseControl plugins for as well.
